At St. Augustine’s, World Book Day is a very important day in our school year. It is a chance to celebrate the world of books and storytelling and a way of coming together and sharing this wonderful time. This year, our school text was ‘The Bear and The Piano’ by David Litchfield. The children unwrapped the book during this morning’s worship and we read the story together before going back to our classrooms to explore it further. The children and adults all looked amazing in their costumes today. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for your support!
