OFSTED Inspection April 2024
It is my absolute pleasure to share with you the report from our recent Ofsted inspection. I am incredibly proud of our wonderful pupils who spoke to the inspectors so eloquently and passionately about their love of school and the experiences they are given here at St A’s. I am also so very proud of the staff who work so hard, I couldn’t wish for a better team. Thank you to those of you who spoke to the inspectors and for the many positive messages of support, it was and is, truly appreciated.

SIAMS Inspection
It is with great pleasure that I can now attach below our Section 48 SIAMS inspection report which I received in December. You will see that we have achieved the highest possible grade, Excellent. Under the new SIAMS Framework, it is incredibly difficult to achieve and many schools who were previously Outstanding have been re-graded as Good. The inspection was rigorous, much more so than the last Ofsted inspection I went through and carries the same value as an Ofsted inspection to church schools. We are only a very small number of schools in the country who have been awarded Excellent. I am so incredibly proud of our children who spoke with clarity, enthusiasm and joy on the day of the inspection. I am also so proud and grateful to our staff, all of whom give their heart and soul to our school. St Augustine’s is a very special place and this has been recognised by the inspector and detailed on the report.
I would like to thank all of you for your continued support and involvement in making St Augustine’s the amazing school that it is.
