Little Saints Wraparound Care is based at the school five mornings and five evenings a week. By managing our own breakfast and after school club on site we can offer the very best of care during these hours in our already safe, caring, and stimulating environment, with our experienced and friendly staff.
Gail Birkin (Little Saints Supervisor) and Wendy Collier (Playworker) bring a wealth of experience in childcare to their roles and have our three school core values at the forefront of everything they do! They are committed to teaching the children new skills and games during their time in the club as well as providing lots of fun with relaxation time if needed. Card games such as snap, memory games, 21, board games and dominoes are proving very popular! The children also enjoy film nights, pamper nights, den building, dressing up, role play, crafts and football.
Our Autumn Term special event evenings can be seen to the right, while each week also has regular sessions for the children to enjoy.
On Monday evenings we have sports clubs run by Footsteps Sports Academy. These will run in six week blocks each and must be booked in advance via MCAS. The first half of term will be tennis and badminton, and the second half of term is mini-trampolining! Little Saints is also available alongside this for those children who do not want to take part.
Tuesday is Lego and Construction Club- this is always incredibly popular and we love seeing where the children’s imaginations take them!
Wednesday evening is our Arts and Crafts club, with lots of different activities to try.
Thursday is our Board Games and Free Play night, allowing the children to follow their interests.
On Friday we have a new addition this half term with the start of Sewing Club!
As well as the theme each day, there are always lots of child-led activities to choose from for those who want to do something different.
All sessions should be booked in advance via MCAS (My Child at School) – please contact the office if you have any issues booking. All breakfast club bookings include breakfast, and after school club includes a snack and drinks. The charges are as follows:
Breakfast Club (7.30am – 8.40am): £7
After School (3.20pm – 4.30pm): £7
After School (3.20pm – 5.30pm): £10
SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
