Class 2 have been learning about why people go on holidays when they do and why they go to different destinations. We explored where we might go on holiday in the UK and the reasons for this. Each child presented their project about their own holidays to the class and answered questions about them. We also had a virtual trip to Barcelona to see why people would go on holiday there. We saw how Spain was nearer to the equator and understood that one of the main reasons was the fine weather! We explored other reasons for a trip to Barcelona. We learnt a little Spanish, tried some Spanish food and even visited one of the most popular attractions, the Sagrada Familia.
SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
