Autumn Term

In science this half term in Class 2, we have been learning about animals, including humans. We have enjoyed this topic so far and have completed a range of activities. After learning about the diet of animals, we had the challenge of using the playdough to create a carnivore, herbivore and omnivore.

Another lesson was about our bodies and the different parts. We began by singing head, shoulders, knees and toes together and completing the actions.

After learning about the importance of the skeleton and finding out the correct names for certain parts of the body e.g. torso, we labelled Jesse using all that we now knew. He was absolutely covered by the end of the activity!

In science, we have been continuing on with our animals topic but this time focused on diet, health and growth. We learnt about nutrition, exercise, hygiene, immunisations and life cycles.
