Class 3 Hockey Tournament
Class 3 had an exciting day at Denstone College for a hockey training day and tournament. Even the atrocious weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of Class 3 who had an incredible time!
Today, all classes had a PE morning where we tried a new sport that most of us had never done before. Class 1 and class 2 each had an archery enrichment activity. This involved learning how to hold a bow and arrow, attach the bow and aim at either a target board or different sized objects. When confident, we were set challenges to add up the scores on the targets as a mini-competition and knock as many objects over with one arrow! Class 3 had a Nerf wars enrichment activity. This was all about reaction time, teamwork, attacking and defending and aiming. They had to reload their Nerf guns, avoid bullets and think of strategies in order to win. It was very exciting to do something different in our PE lesson and we really enjoyed ourselves!
