Dear Parents and Carers,

I have attended an emergency briefing with the Local Authority this morning regarding the very high numbers of Covid infections in our area. They are introducing new measures that we are being asked to adhere to until October half term. I will send a more detailed letter shortly but wanted to inform you that unfortunately, we have been advised not to have parents attending the Harvest service on Friday. This is due to the size of our church and the inability to socially distance attendees. We will also struggle to keep our classes distanced and therefore have taken the decision to have the service in school. Can you please bring the children to school at the usual time instead of dropping off at church. I shall be recording the service and we will post it on the school website on Friday afternoon. I appreciate this is a huge disappointment, for the children especially as they have been working hard on their songs and lines!

Many thanks for your understanding and support.

Best wishes
