Curriculum Statement of Intent

Our academies passionately believe that firm foundations in Early Years are fundamental in developing a love of learning, independence and confidence. This is achieved through offering a stimulating environment which encourages imagination, resilience and perseverance through play and exploration. We use creative mechanisms to enable pupil’s understanding by providing a range of enriching and challenging learning opportunities.

Our curriculum incorporates the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum. This is further enhanced by delivering a range of exciting and challenging experiences and opportunities which are knowledge rich and sequential.  These are designed to inspire and motivate all children as individuals through a holistic and innovative approach.

We celebrate the uniqueness of everyone as children of God. Our shared vision is to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children can develop spiritual, academic, social and emotional growth. We believe the Saints’ academies are caring and loving schools where the children feel safe and valued and can achieve their very best.

We strive for every child to be spirited, adaptable critical thinkers and to flourish in a rapidly changing world. Through the curriculum, we aim to prepare pupils for the opportunities, experiences and responsibilities of adult life. It is our aim to lay a firm foundation for future learning, to have the requisite skills to be successful, independent and motivated learners in readiness for their next stage of education and beyond.

‘Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.
